Q What do I get for my contribution?
A We dedicate a tree in the name of your chosen recipient. We enter the recipient's name and your inscription in our Tree Ledger, alongside the corresponding tree number. We then send a certificate of authenticity, a photograph of the site, and a personalized letter to you, or directly to your chosen recipient
Q Can we see our tree when we are in Ireland?
A When the site is completed with proper walkways etc in place, we will be encouraging people to visit the site. At the moment however we cannot obtain Public Liability Insurance until the site is completed. We are currently sourcing funding from various public bodies to finish the physical site.
Q Can I view the other entries in the Tree Ledger?
A Certainly. When the site is completed, and we are welcoming visitors, we will gladly let you look through the ledger. We intend to give each ledger to Armagh County Museum upon completion, where they will be able to viewed by anyone visiting the museum.
Q Why do you give a percentage of the contribution to a cancer charity?
A We had decided to give a percentage of the contribution amount to charity; as cancer touches most families in some shape or form, we thought this charity would be most appropriate.
Q Where will my tree be planted?
A Your tree will be planted on an historic site, overlooking Armagh city. Have a look at the About Us and History sections of our website for more details.
Q What size are the trees?
A We plant saplings, which grow quite rapidly. Ultimately, the oak tree we plant end up being hundreds of feet tall, and live for hundreds of years.....long after we ourselves are gone!
Q When will my tree be planted?
A Your tree will be planted at the next seasonal planting time. We plant twice a year, in the fall, and spring. We also plant extra trees each time, so that when someone requires a tree at a time that is outside planting season, we have some available. We can then send them the certificate etc. immediately.
Q Do you accept donations?
A We do accept donations. Sometimes people just want to contribute towards an environmental project such as ours and do not wish to make a dedication.
